The preparations being launched on 2012 London Olympic Games

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games, also known informally as London 2012 (for example on the official logo), are scheduled to take place in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. This worldwide Olympic Games will definitely be a visual feast of countless sports fans.

Security guards issue
Olympics will be hold eight days later, the athletes and the world's brightest reporters have arrived in the United Kingdom. But London apparently is still looking for adequate security staffs.
Three weeks before the London Olympics, the security contractors admit that they scrape together the 10,000 security guards. This causes much trouble to the British Government and LOCOG. Last week, the armed forces have received the relevant notification of the UK Ministry of Defense, and hope to reinforce 3,500 soldiers as security guards. Torch relay  
The torch relay will continue until the eve of the opening of the London 2012 Olympic Games, July 6 , led by Li Bingbing in the UK, the Samsung Olympic torchbearers officially started the journey of the torch relay ; July 7 , the famous television presenter Chen Lu Yu in Hertford has passed the Olympic torch which carries people’ dreams. The Olympic torch passed between the star torchbearers. The Olympic spirit, together with the torch and starlight, has been passing to people’s hearts around the world.
Samsung's torch relay has brought together the famous stars globally, and can be very splendid. Foreign famous player David Beckham also is invited to the torch relay.
According to the coverage from BBC radio, the 2012 London Olympic Games will be the largest ever anti-doping Olympic Games. According to reports, more than half of the athletes will receive the drug testing, 150 scientists will be testing 6,000 samples from now on to the end of Paralympic Games. The disabled swimmer Aimeng De who won the 4x100 freestyle champion in Athens and Beijing Olympic Games said: "Winning the medal is like taking drugs, and once you won one you want another one, this is my biggest motivation. Years of dedication and hard work are worth when you are on the podium. Traffic issue
TfL has also built a £25 million cable car across the River Thames, the Emirates Air Line, to link 2012 Olympics venues. It was inaugurated in June 2012 and crosses the Thames between Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks, The plan is to have 80% of athletes travel less than 20 minutes to their event and to have 93% of athletes within 30 minutes of their event.
